THE CAMPAIGN FOR DRAWING
The Campaign for Drawing has one aim: to get everyone drawing!
Drawing helps us to understand the world, think, feel, shape and communicate ideas. It is fun, accessible and invaluable - in education and everyday life.
Our annual Big Draw festival runs throughout October. Over 1000 organisations across the UK and twenty other countries participate annually each year - offering events for all ages and abilities. In 2014, The Big Draw is collaborating with the Family Arts Festival for a second year to create the largest arts festival the UK has ever seen. The 2014 Big Draw will run from 1 Oct - 2 Nov, and its theme is It's Our World.
Drawing is not just for October, and this Spring you can join our three free workshops at Two Temple Place, London, part of the Discoveries exhibition.
Artists of 18 and over can submit paintings, drawings, prints and mixed media for The John Ruskin Prize and win £1000 and an opportunity to exhibit in the Millennium Gallery Sheffield.
Join the wider drawing community throughout the year on
The Big Draw blog. Sign up to our newsletter for year-round drawing news. Support The Campaign by visiting The Big Draw Shop for Power Drawing books, Quentin Blake and Big Draw products and unique artworks.
